This is a brief and final newsletter for 2021. Its purpose to is alert you to a great craft show on the first weekend of December and to give you a link for free tickets. Also, there are few pictures of my new double bow chair (version #2), which will have its public debut at the show!

Craft Show: 4/5 December 2021
Sussex Guild at Midhurst Rother College, North Street, Midhurst, West Sussex GU29 9DT
This is the Guild’s largest show of the year, with 57 of the best crafts people from Sussex exhibiting. They come from a very wide range of disciplines, including Windsor chair making!
Set in the magnificent Midhurst Rother College, there is a café running all weekend, with great food, so do come and make the most of the opportunity to find unusual Christmas presents and more.
My new chair will be on display and available for testing, with a course scheduled to make it 13-17 June next year!
For free tickets, please download here and print them out. Just add your name to the sheet when you bring it to the show.
New Chair – SACK BACK
This is an Anglicised version of an American double bow chair, commonly known as a ‘sack back’.
There was a picture of the prototype in my last newsletter and this is the final version, which incorporated a number of small, but significant, improvements!
