I have listed my courses that currently have vacancies, and hope to be able to announce further dates for 2026 shortly.
Below, I present the new name for my 3-day chair. Enjoy the list of suggestions that I received and I hope you approve the one that I chose.

Sussex Guild Craft Show at Midhurst Rother College, GU29 9DT
6/7 December 10-5 Saturday, 10-4 Sunday
As usual I will be exhibiting at the Sussex Guild show in Midhurst, this coming weekend. This year we have almost 60 exhibitors and the standard will be as high as ever. I will have all my chairs on display, and I’d love to chat about courses. It will also be a superb opportunity for high quality Christmas shopping.
It would be great to see you at the show.

Chair Making Courses
Bookings have been excellent over the last four months! I will be adding new course dates to my website as soon as I have dates for particular craft shows next year.
In the meantime, here are the courses which currently have vacancies:

26-30 January. sack back (1 place)

Naming of my 3-Day Chair
Back in my October newsletter, I set a challenge to come up with a great name for my new chair.
Thank you to everyone that submitted a name(s).
I received 31 suggestions. I am most grateful for the effort and imagination that has gone into them. There are lots of great ideas, most useable, some not(!), but my choice is from Lynne – THE CRESCENT
Lynne will be receiving a small spokeshave as a thank you!
I am delighted to report that the first course for this chair is already full. However I still have a couple of places on the second course 22-24 May. Please get in touch if you are interested in making a Crescent chair!
