Windsaligner - Centre-finding

Push centre finder onto fixed rod (red dot to red dot)
Mark leg in line with groove on centre-finder
Set up between legs, using clip to hold in place

Price: £50.00 plus shipping

Push the ‘V’ shaped centre-finder onto the short, fixed brass point (red dot to red dot).

Place the centre finder against the leg to be drilled, so that the ‘V’ is at right angles to the leg. Draw out the brass rod at the other end until it touches the other leg at the point closest to the leg to be drilled. Use the clip to hold the rod in position. (NB a small error in this position will have a trivial effect on the centre-finder)

Now run a pencil along the groove in the top of the centre-finder and project it onto the leg. This is the point to drill, so that the hole is centred in the leg.

Now reverse the pinch rod and centre-finder and mark the other leg.
