Windsor Wax
This product has been developed, and is made, at The Windsor Workshop for finishing and maintaining Windsor chairs.

The main ingredients are locally sourced beeswax and linseed oil and these are supplemented by small quantities of carnauba wax and turpentine.
The wax is easily applied with a cloth or paper towel. Unfinished wood should ideally be sealed with a dilute coat of French polish (approx. 50:50 with methylated spirits) and then rubbed down with 500 grit paper. Previously oiled or waxed wood needs no prior treatment.
Each tin contains 350 grams of wax. This is sufficient for finishing approximately a dozen new chairs.
