English Chairs
English chairs
The style of these English chair dates from the Georgian period which produced this country’s finest chairs. The side chairs have braced backs (i.e. two diagonal spindles). This feature is both decorative and practical. The arm chair has curved armposts typical of that period, and a broad comfortable seat. This style is completely at home in old English houses with exposed beams. This combination of chairs is designed to be used as a dining set.
